Northwest Coast Indians

The Northwest Coast Indians are well known for their
use of Totem Poles and wooden carvings. A ladle of goat horn inlaid with abalone is one of many of
the decorative items treasured by the Indians.

This is a wooden frog effigy grease bowl that is inlaid with ivory.

This feast bowl is a double bear effigy. The eyes are made of carved ivory. |
|
|
The totem pole was s symbol of the different tribes. |
